Computer buddies
Tranby College and the Library have teamed up to provide one-on-one training for Library patrons working with a College student. This is an opportunity for you to have individual attention to gain skills using the internet, setting up email, using word processing software and even getting help using your mobile phone.

Kids Cushion Concerts
Join the Education Chamber Orchestra (EChO) as they explore the wonder and fun of classical music and the instruments of the Orchestra. These 50 minute concerts are a brilliant introduction to music for young ones and include sing-alongs and other interactive elements including "have a go" on instruments.

National Simultaneous Storytime
A surprise guest will be visiting the Library to read Feathers for Phoebe by Rod Clement. This book will be read all across Australia at the same time. There will also be time for songs and craft activity join in the fun and be part of a national event.
Every year, at over a thousand locations around Australia - libraries, schools, kindergartens, childcare centres and bookshops - 140,000 children read the same Australian children's book simultaneously and enjoy a range of supporting educational activities that promote the value of reading and literacy.

Big Morning Tea and Book Sale
Come along to the Library have a cuppa and browse a range of second hand books at the same time help support the fight against cancer, all funds raised will go to the Cancer Council Australia. 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. One dollar at a time you are making a difference helping to fund Cancer Council’s research, prevention, education and support services.
